Looky here, again some screenshots!

The same relaxation vault... not much has changed here.

What's with all these buttons? And all these indicators? It appears to be some kind of puzzle...

There's that airboat again! But it surroundings have changed. Though the fog is as thick as ever...

Now this gets interesting. A huge ramp! I wonder what's on the other side...

Website WIP

I've deleted the previous news entry here, 'cause it was more of a weblog and had nothing to do with the website itself. This entry, however, does: as you can see, the site is undergoing several changes. First, I've changed the way the menu works. It's much smaller now, and horizontal. Unfortunately, it also no longer features the pop-up sub-menues. I couldn't keep those in a horizontal setup because they can't cross frames. Second, the whole frameset has been changed. The two empty spaces left and right will receive a background in a future update. As the title of this news entry implies, the update is still a work in progress, so expect more changes.

Hmm... it appears someone has left some screenshots lying around...

This appears to be some kind of relaxation vault... but where?

Water? Airboat? This definately is not SkyLabs... but what is it?

Javascript Update
+/-
Monday May 5th 2008 16:41 GMT+1
Yes, I haven't updated the website very much lately, but that's very likely to change soon. The most intruging update is already visible. Don't you see it? Yes, I've managed to create a fine piece of Javascript code allowing you to show or hide news entries at will. It took me hours to get right, but at last it worked. I think I'm gonna try some nice fade effects next...

Javascript and PHP
+/-
Thursday February 28th 2008 21:54 GMT+1
We're currently learning Javascript at school, and I'm personally experimenting with PHP, so my website will gain new functionality occasionally. One of them is a clock to be seen in the banner, working with Javascript. If you don't see it I probably didn't upload it yet. Next to that, my menu now also works with Javascript and the SkyLabs section got a new page called the "console", allowing you to acces the G-drive of SkyCom, the main computer of SkyLabs. Try typing in "test" (without G:/ in front of it) and see what you think about it. Sooner or later I'll add all of the archives to the console, but for now they will remain as separate HTML pages.

Website Out Of CSS Beta
+/-
Saturday January 26th 2008 14:57 GMT+1
Soon after it's initial release, the SkyLabs website saw it's first update. It was only a minor one, but the site has now left the CSS-beta-stage and has finally gone CSS-gold. It's written completely in XHTML and CSS 3, meaning that most browsers should be capable of showing it correctly (though the menu might act strange in older versions of IE). Next to that, it saw an update in the means of non-SkyLabs content: my personal page now contains a (dutch) list of questions about me I've answered (more or less), and there's a page with links to pages of other students (personally I think my website looks nicer than most of theirs, but hey, I've said stranger things). It is also more clearly stated which pages of my site are written in Dutch now. The summaries are no more than summaries of chapters of our virtual studybook for Informatics, completely written in Dutch and only interesting for people who haven't written them theirselves yet. Expect more updates soon!

SkyLabs Website Online!
+/-
Tuesday January 22nd 2008 19:37 GMT+1
Finally the SkyLabs website is online! It took me weeks to get it in this state, but it was more than worth it. As you might see, there are large portions of the website that don't have any connection to SkyLabs at all. That's because this website is actually a project I have to make for school, so it has to reach certain objectives. Nevertheless, I may use it for any purpose I want, and I will make sure that it will remain on the Internet. Expect occasional updates, such as visual enhancement, javascript tricks, and of course more information about SkyLabs and any other things I might do with Hammer and the Source engine.
